Regardless of the goal, before one can excel it is paramount to uncover and address weak areas. 

A weakness in any of the following areas can inhibit progress, or worse, lead to a career ending injury.

Flexibility: Often neglected, is not only necessary for preventing injuries and improving athletic performance, but can even facilitate strength gains.

Muscle Balance: Improper balance between muscle groups, inhibits speed, retards strength gains and predisposes one to injury.

Joint Stability: Important for balance and injury prevention, and can be a limiting factor in strength gains.
Individualized Diet and Supplement Plans:

Many athletes go to agonizing extremes to compete within a given weight division.  Not only is this unhealthy, and in some cases dangerous, but usually results in a decrease in performance.

Get lean without resorting to dehydration or severely restricting calories.  You can make weight without losing strength, or sapping your energy levels.
