Fitness & Weight Loss:
Gluttony: Commercial food portions are ever increasing, and it’s been demonstrated that individuals (probably an evolutionary trait) are not good at determining when they’ve had enough, and will tend to eat what’s been put before them.

Ignorance: The diet industry is sending out mixed messages; it seems that every month a new diet is in vogue – One “guru” espouses low fat/high carbs, and another, the opposite, it’s no wonder that people are confused and cynical.

Sloth: Schools are cutting their P.E. and athletic programs, kids are spending more time in front of the TV, and are growing up to become sedentary adults.

To make matters worse, those who turn to a professional to help, do not get the instruction or motivation they need.  Personal trainers are like the psychiatrists of the new millennium.  It’s chic to have a trainer, and as with the psychiatrists of the ‘70s, many will spend years in “therapy” without improvement, their trainers, rather than being instructors and motivators, have become enablers, merely going through the motions with them.

You can change all of that with moderation, information, and motivation!
I’ve trained everyone from world-class athletes to business executives and working mothers.  I’ve been overweight myself (240lbs) and know firsthand what it takes to bring about real change.  I’m passionate about what I do, and will not be satisfied unless you get results.

I will help you cut through the BS and hype, and find the proper exercise and diet plan you need.  I don’t offer quick fixes, trendy gimmicks or easy answers, just serious training for serious individuals who want serious results. Whatever your goal, I have the experience and know-how to give you the greatest results for your efforts!

Over 30% of Americans are considered overweight, and another 30% are considered chronically obese, and the reasons are much simpler than many would have us believe.  And no, it’s not your glands.

In my ten years as a fitness professional I’ve come to understand that the majority of those who are overweight are so because of one or more of the following three reasons.
The Truth behind the Obesity Epidemic – and What to Do About It
Gluttony – People eat too much, plain and simple.

Ignorance – They have little idea what constitutes a proper diet or exercise program.

Sloth – Too many people won’t put down the remote and get off their duffs.

Sounds harsh, let me elaborate.   Though gluttony, ignorance and sloth seem hard to defend, it’s not all the fault of the consumer.
