Many trainers approach training on the mere tactical level, that is as a collection of exercises or techniques. Nearly any exercise or drill can be appropriate in one setting, but not another, it all depends on the individual and the goal. I often see trainers focusing on “core stability”, just because it is currently in vogue, without considering how it fits into a clients needs and goals. Core training, as important as it is, does not have a great enough “metabolic cost” to burn the calories required for significant weight loss, the primary goal of most clients. Knowing when to use one technique over another, how various techniques can complement or detract from each other, and how they relate to the overall long-term goal, takes a strategic approach.
I offer a variety of different services for every type of goal - from sports conditioning for the professional athlete, to getting in shape for a wedding or reunion.
I’ve trained everyone from world-class athletes to business executives and working mothers. I’ve been overweight myself (240lbs) and know firsthand what it takes to bring about real change. I’m passionate about what I do, and will not be satisfied unless my clients get results.
I don’t offer quick fixes, trendy gimmicks or easy answers, just serious training for serious individuals who want serious results.
