"98-pound weakling, got sand kicked in my face at the beach."
Mark has spent several years in (and recently returned to) Tokyo, where he is well known in both the fitness and martial art industries, and has been featured in several of the industry’s top publications

His monthly strength & conditioning column has appeared in Full Contact Fighter for 4 years, and ran for 2 years in IRONMAN Japan, and he was featured on the cover of Japan’s No. 1 English magazine, Metropolis.  He was also interviewed for the Japanese bodybuilding magazine, BODYPOWER, and his fitness column ran in Tokyo’s Player for 6 months.

Mark was chosen as a spokesman for Haleo a Japanese manufacturer of top-of-the-line nutritional supplements.
Unlike those blessed with excellent genetics, gains in size and strength never came easily for Mark.  He's been through periods of being both underweight and overweight, and was often frustrated with the results of his efforts.

But through study, research, trial and error he's been able to continually make progress, realizing along the way, that it is the journey, not the destination that is vital.

Now at the age of 42 he's still improving, fine tuning, and pushing himself to new levels.

Mark says: "It gives me great personal satisfaction to share with others that have been similarly frustrated what I have learned in my continuing quest for fitness, health, strength, and longevity."

Mark Ginther
Despite his focus on sports conditioning, Mark enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life. He's trained business executives, working mothers, teenagers and the retired.  Increased functional strength, structural balance and joint stability are just some of the benefits they've experienced being trained with an athlete's considerations in mind.
